Rope Woven basket..

Rope Woven Badket...




 



I taught myself to weave baskets.  Since I couldn't find ash which is the wood  people in New Brunswick use, I thought I would try something afforadable and plentiful.  Cotton rope that can be used for clothes line.

When looking at the bottom, I wanted to look at a piece of art.  The birch trees is created by from roving by needle felting.  The whites and black colours are repeated in the main basket.

Loved designing this piece of art.

Take what You need.......

    Take what You need.... Most days we   I can navigate through the day; however, there are  times I need a little something to give my spirit a lift and 'Take what You need' poster is that quick pick me upper or the  encouraging word. Today I need courage to blog.  I am not consistent and I get discouraged  easily.  So, I need the courage to try again.  With that courage I can  do what I love or is it to follow my heart as I enjoy inspiring women  to take that step forward.
