Rope Woven Badket... I taught myself to weave baskets. Since I couldn't find ash which is the wood people in New Brunswick use, I thought I would try something afforadable and plentiful. Cotton rope that can be used for clothes line. When looking at the bottom, I wanted to look at a piece of art. The birch trees is created by from roving by needle felting. The whites and black colours are repeated in the main basket. Loved designing this piece of art.
