Colours in the Backyard Whites, purples, greens and yellow are splashes of colour that appear in the yard. The backyard is a lot of nature in a little space. Sitting in the sunroom with doors and windows open feeling the sensation of the cool morning air. The morning greeting. Looking to my right are tiger lilies showcasing the long dark green leaves. Those long narrow leaves stand very straight like a soldier or bend near the tip acknowledging the warm breeze while others spikes bend low bowing to either a heavy load or abundance. Over the past two to three days the leaves have doubled in size. Hostas gather together to form a circle reminding me of a community that gathers together for enjoyment or pleasure or work.
